Track Name: Techno Babou (For Christmas)
Track Length: 1:51
Description: This is a heavily edited and technofied performance of a classical composition written by Thomas Babou - a Belgian composer who lived from 1656 to 1740. The original is called "Piece Variee", and although not really intended to be a Christmas tune, the joyous melody plus some added samples of bells and choral vocals seems to help summon some holiday spirits! Produced by C.P.Bryan. {Christmas, peppy, neoclassical, electronica, upbeat, cheerful, happiness, sentimental, cartoon, kidshow, themes, techno, breezy}
Description: Peaceful, meditative, piano composition with atmospheric synthetic string tones. Creates a mood of calm reflection with some degree of solemnity - a subtle undercurrent of regret or uncertainty as to what the future brings... Composed by Enrico Altavilla. {cinematic, melancholy, calm, meditative, mellow, neoclassical, Piano_Keyboards, ambient, ballad, atmospheres}
Description: As the name suggests, this music could form the backdrop for some video scenery of the natural environment. It could also work well faded down in the soundtrack mix to allow some documentary style voiceover. The foreground instrumentation is orchestral strings, with a burbling new age synthesizer to accompany. Composed by Steve Lowther. {ambient, cinematic, mellow, neoclassical, atmospheres, electronica}
Description: This track was originally composed as an elegy for Fred Katz, who wrote film soundtrack scores for several Roger Corman films in the 1950s and 1960s. For those who have never heard of Corman: he produced and directed sci-fi and horror films with titles like "Night of The Blood Beast" and "The Wasp Woman" (just to give you some examples). However, after much application of effects and processing, the mixdown of this composition has ended up sounding a lot more like industrial electronica than retro horror b-movie fare - perhaps more like a subtle soundscape than was originally intented... Composed by Steve Lowther. {melancholy, neoclassical, motion}
Description: Rhythmic pulse of accelerated living in the 21st century. Steady clockwork drum machine provides a backdrop for synthetic melodic patterns weaving around programmed avenues and thoroughfares, like the patterns of circuit boards which became race tracks in the movie "Tron". Everyone complains that the pace of life is getting faster and faster - but at what speed do all the individual details just become a blur? Composed by Steve Lowther. {electronica, techno, Synthesizer, tension, themes, soundscape, motion, neoclassical, sci-fi}
