Description: This track was originally composed as an elegy for Fred Katz, who wrote film soundtrack scores for several Roger Corman films in the 1950s and 1960s. For those who have never heard of Corman: he produced and directed sci-fi and horror films with titles like "Night of The Blood Beast" and "The Wasp Woman" (just to give you some examples). However, after much application of effects and processing, the mixdown of this composition has ended up sounding a lot more like industrial electronica than retro horror b-movie fare - perhaps more like a subtle soundscape than was originally intented... Composed by Steve Lowther. {melancholy, neoclassical, motion}
Description: Multifunction smart phones and tablets are placed in new robot bodies and programmed to enslave the human inhabitants of planet earth. Or maybe machine components are not necessary as the smart devices simply find a way to burrow into human brains through viral language-based memes and make us all zombies! (This track is part of the "Retro Remix" series). Composed by C.P.Bryan. {sci-fi, techno, adventure, alienation, tension, halloween, horror}

Track Name: Keeping The Faith
Track Length: 4:03

Retro eighties easy-listening, adult-contemporary vibe. The origins of this song date back to the late eighties and the heyday of music videos when MTV would broadcast a lot of soul pop with spiritual overtones. Somewhat whimsical song about a cop back on the beat after a stint in rehab. The musical style is retro seventies soul-funk. There is an also an instrumental version with the vocal track removed. Gritty blues song about constantly being hustled to buy crappy products. Basically just the common sentiment held by a lot of people who are fed up of being bombarded with aggressive sales tactics. Composed by C.P.Bryan. {blues, retro, gritty, weirdo, whimsical, Electric_Guitar, alternative, vocal, rock, tension, experimental}
Song. Gritty blues song warning about the dangers of a wild, rambling lifestyle. Female vocal sings: "Make some honest bread now Johnny - Gotta make you an honest dime". Composed by C.P.Bryan. {blues, gritty, retro, Electric_Guitar, tension, melancholy, rock, mellow, Bass_Guitar}
Some may remember a very popular cop show from the 1980s that often felt like an extended play music video. It was about a couple of vice cops on the beat in Miami who created a whole new fashion style: The wrinkled linen suits, the wind-ravaged, spiky hairdos matched by 2-3 days of beard stubble. This track could well be an homage to the soundtrack music of that era: the heavily reverbed snare hits, the lock-step programmed synth bass line, the sleazy saxophone solo. For those looking for retro background music for action sequences, this might well fit the bill... Composed by C.P.Bryan. {action, adventure, peppy, Saxophone, funky, motion, excitement, cinematic, suspense, Heavy_Drumming}
