This is a modern electronic reworking of a piece by 19th century composer Xavier Carlier titled "Valse Caprice". It is a somewhat dark and mysterious soundtrack, suggestive of dramatic themes like alienation and disenfranchisement, or it may work well as background music for science fiction stories of the dystopian technological nightmare variety.
